Here's a song that I am convinced it's about Hendrix. You tell me what you think. (I know Anxiety can get into this)

He played it left hand - (Hendrix played left handed)

But made it too far - (Hendrix was a victim of his own success?)

Became the special man - (Early on, Hendrix was seen by fans and his peers as the best guitarist)

Screwed up eyes and screwed down hair - do - (People have spoken how Jimi had "spacey" eyes and Hendrix's haie is legendary)

He could lick'em by smiling - (Hendrix was seen to have no competition and to be charming)

Came on so loaded man - (Hendrix has come on stage "high")

Well hung and snow white tan - (Hendrix had the reputation with the ladies for being "well endowed" and his fairly light skin tone)

Ziggy played for time, jiving us that we were voodoo - (Hendrix's song "Voodoo Child")

He took it all to far, but boy, could he play guitar - (It was widely reported that Hendrix died of a drug overdose. Hendrix, to this day, is regarded as the best guitarist)

Bowie's actually left-handed himself. That David Bowie song is about David Bowie.

Ive read in at least one book, ( I cant recall which) , that Cream's "Sunshine Of Your Love" was about or inspired by Hendrix.Of course that may just be an assumption , as Hendrix performed the song himself frequently .

All, I do know that for a brief period that Hendrix used to play with James Brown and the Isley's. He was a hell of a studio musician before doing his thing solo.

Then when "Purple Rain" came out, some of them started asking me, who wrote "Purple Haze" and "the guitar in the Purple Rain song is wild..Does Hendrix have stuff like that?"
