Don't forget the song "This Magic Moment" from the 1989 various artists album "Rock, Rhythm, and Blues". It's a remake of an old song (I don't know the name of the original artist). I didn't think it was all that great. I kind of reminded me of "Sexual Luv Affair", which I could take or leave.
I just burned me a copy of that 45, which I never knew existed, from my brother-in-law this year. I needed it to complete my collection. Now all I need is that "Great White Cane" album.  Andy is a four letter word. | |

Vainandy,did you ever find a copy of Rick's unreleased 1989 album called 'Kickin'? It was supposed to be released by Warner Bros,but it was left in the vaults for some reason.

Dammitt! Just when I think I have almost all of Rick James' music, I visit his site and find out there are 12 Inches that I never knew existed.

Yeah,I'm thinking it would be very similiar to 'Wonderful',which I was not really crazy about I was thinking of the exact same album because "This Magic Moment" was recorded in 1989 (the same year as "Kickin'") and it sounds like it would fit in with 1988's "Wonderful". I agree. I have all of Rick's joints too. "Street Songs" is Rick's best album. I'll put "Bustin Out Of L7" next. "Come And Get It", then "Fire It Up", THEN "Throwin Down". SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."
