Anything from the Mary Poppins soundtrack.

To this day when i watch "let's go fly a kite" i cry, when Mary Poppins leaves via umbrella.

Good movie. But I never liked the songs much. Though "feed the birds" is one of those songs that could make ANY hard man cry.

Ever seen the Aladdin film. It's during the scene when Aladdin is being chased for stealing stuff.

"lets stay one jump ahead, before we falllll and we're dead. Lets stay one jump ahead, so our dreams can become truth". neutral

Cruella De Vil, Cruella De Vil,
If she doesn´t scare you, no evil thing will,
To see her is to take a sudden chill,
Cruella, Cruella,De Vil
She´s like a spider waiting for the kill,
Look out for Cruella De Vil
At first you think Cruella is a devil,
After time has worn away the shock,
You come to realize,
You've seen her kind of eyes,
watching you from underneath a rock,
This vampire bat,
This skins human beast,
She should be locked up, and never released,
The world was such a wholesome place until, Cruella, Cruella De Vil

Yes, it is a song. I like all the Disney movies after The Little Mermaid, plus earlier Princess-movies (Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella) except for Tarzan, that I never saw. I know many Disney-songs by heart (some in English, others in Finnish).
Favourites would probably be "A whole new world", "Part of your world", "Circle Of life", "Can you feel the love tonight", "True to your heart", "Reflection", "Just around the riverbend" and "Colors of the wind".

Yes, it is a song.

Here's the lyrics from the Aladdin SDTK.

[Aladdin:] Gotta keep
One jump ahead of the breadline
One swing ahead of the sword
I steal only what I can't afford
( That's Everything! )

One jump ahead of the lawmen
That's all, and that's no joke
These guys don't appreciate I'm broke

[Crowd:] Riffraff! Street rat! Soundrel! Take that!

[Aladdin:] Just a little snack, guys
[Crowd:] Rip him open, take it back, guys
[Aladdin:] I can take a hint, gotta face the facts
You're my only friend, Abu!
[Crowd:] Who?
He's become a a one-man rise in crime
I'd blame parents except he hasn't got 'em
[Aladdin:] Gotta eat to live, gotta steal to eat
Tell you all about it when I got the time!

One jump ahead of the slowpokes
One skip ahead of my doom
Next time gonna use a nom de plume
One jump ahead of the hitmen
One hit ahead of the flock
I think I'll take a stroll around the block

[Crowd:] Stop, thief! Vandal! Outrage! Scandal!

[Aladdin:] Let's not be too hasty
[Lady:] Still I think he's rather tasty
[Aladdin:] Gotta eat to live, gotta steal to eat
Otherwise we'd get along
[Crowd:] Wrong!

[Aladdin:] One jump ahead of the hoofbeats
(Vandal!)
One hop ahead of the hump
(Street rat!)
One trick ahead of disaster
(Scoundrel!)
They're quick, but I'm much faster
(Take that!)
Here goes, better throw my hand in
Wish me happy landin'
All I gotta do is jump

What that aladin song? No it's not. Unless its newly added on a dvd version or something? Fill me in?

Oh yeah I love "can u feel the love tonight". But the actual one u hear on the film is better. Luckily on the cd u get both versions.

OH YEAH. I got confused. When u said "in the scene for stealing stuff" I pictured the bit when he is on the carpet getting the lamp. Thus my little song could of been played whilst alladin was on his mute magic carpet.

Oh yeah, it opens the film (after the "arabian nights" that is). Big thanx. I never got the soundtrack so theres the confusion.

I loved iago's song on "return of jafa". Thanx to the voice, "looking out for me" is classic.
