Games was nice but I loved Turned Away more than anything. Last time I saw him was a few years ago working with Tina Turner

Big Chuckii fan here. Damn shame he was only allowed to release two albums but he came along at a time where musicians weren't respected as the once were. Chuckii was just born 10 years too late. Any way, Games and Turned Away are both great. But my 2 jams were "That's My Honey" & "Touch" from his first album. Props for bringing Chuckii's name to these boards.

Chuckii Booker was cool. I remember turned away that was a great song. I think he played on a few other artists albums and maybe some producing?

My sister used to call him "chunky boogers". biggrin

I love chikki booker. I got those 2 albums. "tunred away" is one of my fav sonfs of all time. I still got the music video with him doing a lil' dancing whilst playing guitar. "res q me" is seriously funky. Chukki had a sense of humour like Prince. He slows down his voice and mucks around. The bass is fierce on "res q me".

His "niice and wild" album is great too. I love "deep c diver" "nice and wild" "games" etc.....plus "spread my wings" by troop is great too, as was the superior remake chukki produced for troop, of the ramake of the jakcson 5's "all i do is think of you".

he does appear on othewr peoples records. Like Stayce and kimikos album (remember them?) and he seems to appear in "house party 3" oddly?

Orger brante is a HUGE fan. Where are u brante? biggrin

I was just about to post that! Took the words right out of my...fingers? Anyway, Those were my cuts! "I Should Have Loved You" is also one of the baddest slow jams of the time period. Chuckii is extremely talented.

Definitely agree with all the posts. I have both CDs and Chuckii is funky. All props have been given to the bangin' uptempo stuff so I'll give props to one of the most sensual bonin' tracks ever written. boff For Lovers Only. Listen and try it out for yourself! nod
