Best artist of all time - top 10 I know this has probably been done b4, (I haven't seen it in the while) but what the heck....who are your top 10 fav artist and what age are you...this will give more meaning to your choices...yes, U can include rap artist if U must. (let's have some fun)
Ok, I'm 35 and I was born in 1970 and for some reason the whole G.Clinton funk era passed me by. Here R my top 10: 1. Prince (everything wraped up in one) 2. Micheal Jackson (the best entertainer, Thriller - fucking incredible) 3. Stevie Wonder (the inovator, the voice, the spirit) 4. Whitney Houston (the voice, she had me @ hello) 5. Marvin Gaye (the emotion, the songs, the lyrics and soulful ballads) 6. The Jackson Five (The ultimate boy band - b4 NE, New Kids, etc.) 7. Lionel Richie (I'm just a big fan, The Can't SLow Down album was just incredible) 8. Diana Ross (I always loved Diana Ross, her style and sexuality won me over) 9. Rick James[/b] (Street Songs had me hooked, was underrated as a vocalist) 10. Mary J Blige (the whole hip hop/R&B era - she pionered that sound) Close Calls - Notorious BIG - The delivery, the voice, brought East Coast Hip-HOp back on the Map in the early 90's. Jermaine Jackson (I route for the underdog I guess - always wanted him to be as big as MIcheal) New Edition - I was a teenager when they hit so what do u expect? Kool N the Gang - Inredible body of work Mariah Carey (The voice, the sexuality) Glady's Knight (the voice) Deniece Williams (The five Octave range) Janet Jackson (The sexuality, the tracks, the 80's) Can't wait 2 hear you guys choices, holla back! | |
