she's always been a 2-face, and is usually only photographed from one side (don't remember which, though). "I don't need your forgiveness, cos I've been saved by Jesus, so fuck you."

She was pretty in the early 90's. The hair was a lot better. Beautiful and curly and BROWN. This 10-shades-too-pale stringy shit she has now just makes her look bloated and anemic. As long as she stays brunette, even, she looks a hell of a lot better. Gives her class, I guess. She looked good up until 1997. But of course she's had 2 nose jobs. 1. From this: to her early 90's look 2. From her early 90's look to this: She should have stopped after nose job #1. The botox also makes her look fuckin' ODD. Help! Only my mouth can move! That's how I feel about Justin, Eminem, and even MIchael. Eminem doesn't need the black's community approval to sell records (not anymore, maybe in the beginning) so he is comfortable whith being himself. But let's not turn this into another race issue...

OK, do you see how much bridgework she had to have to go from to ? She's had other work done, too. The telltale dents on either side of the nose don't help her case. This is pretty obvious work - not Alicia Keys-subtle. [Edited 5/14/05 18:44pm]

Second time I agree with voices! I loved this Mariah! I think she looked her best in Emotions, Someday, Vision of Love, Dreamlover videos. She was so naturally beatiful and just herself. This straight blond hair and NO eyebrows just don´t suit her. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

i thought her prettiest time was when she made that honey filmclip, that whole era and even up to heartbreaker, she was pretty in that clip too. i think it was when glitter came along that she started looking not so great

OK, do you see how much bridgework she had to have to go from If someone was to think she was "just white" from that pic they probably were blind. They did indeed "whiten" her up for her first couple of debut's. She DEFINITLEY looks mixed in that picture. And today I see more of her ethnicity now than ever before. I'm a bit embarrassed i thought she was. [Edited 5/13/05 14:02pm] why embarrased? she does not look black one little bit, its not a hard mistake to make. i didnt know she was mixed until i found out on here too. when my sister told me a couple weeks before i started coming to this site, i was like 'nah, no way. she must be mixed as in half white half latino' but yeh, then i came on here and found out otherwise. i think she never mentioned she was half black, cos no one would believe her. Do people out there need glasses ??? The very first moment I saw Mariah back in 1990 or so, I knew she was at least part Black. My family originated in Jamaica, where there's a lot of racial mixing, so I've seen many "Black" people who look like Mariah. Some even lighter, with straight hair. I guess that proves that we all don't look alike ... #SOCIETYDEFINESU

Or her TV series the "L Word", where she and Pam Grier (!) play sisters (not just sistahs ?!) I've never seen an inteview with Jennifer where she did not mention her bi-racial heritage. Or should she come on like Alicia Keys, who sometimes tries to act more like an East New york homegirl than a Columbia University educated piano prodigy ? #SOCIETYDEFINESU

Jennifer has played in a lot of movies and very few of the characters she played have been even biracial, her characters are usually assumed to be white because she is usually the only biracial character and it is never discussed and with that new show she has on Showtime I have read some interviews from the first season and alot of the reporters called her on it they told her that she has never in her career been so forthcoming about her ethnic heritage it was off limits when she gave interviews, the woman who wrote the character that she plays on the L word only wanted Jennifer Beals for that character and she stated that she did not see beals as biracial she was just going to have her play it as a white woman, it was beals who insisted that the character be biracial I applaud her for that

well, somebody doesnt agree with you.. check this out y'all: Mariah Carey is reportedly getting a high-class makeover from Vogue editor-at-large Andre Leon Talley. According to the singer's rep, "We don't want people to say things like 'skanky.'" we can all finally rest in peace...a change is gonna come.. Space for sale...

One thing that I find confusing about Mariah is the on one hand is she is looking "whiter" with the blonde straight hair, etc but on another hand, she is "acting more black" using street slang and doing collboartions with rap artists. Sorry I hate stereotyping any race but I think you all know what I mean. Why do you think this is?
