Then you must love... ...Todd Rundgren PM: Did you know her? TR: I knew her fairly well. I met her right after Eli & The Thirteenth Confession. I actually had arranged a meeting, just because I was so infatuated with her and I wanted to meet the person who had produced all this music. We got along, and we were kind of friendly, and actually, after I met her the first time, she asked me if I wanted to be her band leader. http://www.puremusic.com/todd3.html tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. I really loved Alice when I was young...saw him in Toronto we were down in front and got splattered with the fake blood..had to ride back on the subway covered in red gunk trying not to laugh hysterically at the people staring at us.
He has a restaurant in Cooperstown NY and they say he's there a lot, talks to everyone who comes in,...I haven't been there yet though my sister has and she did get to talk to him "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind"-Dr Seuss

The drinking games centered around that film are endless. my friend compared her screen presence to that of an oversized yoda lawn ornament on casters that gets pulled off camera by a rope at the end of scenes. Is that the same movie where she does "Hard to Handle" or is that "Myra Breckinridge"?....cause that's the funniest thing EVER. Oops, off-topic, huh.

Sorry, called my sis and she said you're right ,it's in Az
I got confused because she's a huge Yankees fan and has been to the Baseball Hall of Fame several times. Again I say I haven't been to either place but my sister has been to both. It would be cool to go there though. "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind"-Dr Seuss

Isn't he the father of what they call "glam-rock"? No, that would be this guy.... http://www.prince.org/msg/8/145051 I think Alice is the father of "shock rock" more than glam. He was more dark than glittery. Geez, I really have a way of expressing my musical opinions, don't I? I should be a rock journalist. He was basically building on Sabbath's rock & roll as a horror movie concept, adding in a performance to match the music. They should owe him royalties for the stuff they've stolen from him. Well, Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson have both been profuse in their love and respect for the man (Rob especially). I don't know about the guys in Kiss. They seem to want to take credit for a lot of what Alice started, at least from what I've read. He, every month hundreds, maybe even thousands of new titles are released, only a few of them get into the billboard top 40 or 50, whatever....But that is mostly not the source for the CD's i am buying.....
I tend to focus myselve on the 'serious' musicpress, or sometimes hear a song on the radio that gets me interested. And most of these artist arent about image, but delivering quality music. Thinking about what i bought lately: - Caroline Herring - Twilight (acoustic country / folk) - The Yearlings - Utrecht (REM meets alternative countryrock) - Peter Gabriel - Hits (a double cd with hits AND commercial misses) - King's X - Faith Hope Love (an oldie, mixing hardrock with psychedelic pop, funk and folk) I dont need 'image' for that: i just follow my taste and intuition
