I really don't watch the "American Idol" all the time but there is something about Vonzell. I don't think she'll win but she really kicks ass and I honestly think that she'll be an excellent dance music artist. She reminds me a lot of Donna Summer. Power vocals, looks amazing, energetic performance and she seems to lean toward dance music. I hope she is at least in the top two so she puts out an album sooner and I hope she has some involvement in the making of it and they don't just make a safe AI album. I've never owned any album by an AI artist but she might win me over

the good thing going for vonzell is that each year you have had an african american finalist in the top two...

and at least vonzell tries to spice things up.....carrie has no personality....all the articles on the show have a cute name for her...we have fembot, barbie, stepford wife...

I think Vonzell has improved so much since the beginning. I am a Bice fan, though, only because I grew up on 8 tracks with the doobie brothers, Bread, lynard skynard, all the old rock. Bo Bice just reminds me of that, and does so well at it.

I'm excited about the final 3. Vonzell has grown a lot since the beginning and I'd like to see her be in the finals though I don't see it happening. Next week will definetly be worth watching.

Oh, I agree with SOS, Carrie doesn't have much if any personality. It's like her performances are "by the numbers". But it's all up to us Americans to see how far she'll go.

I know news is kind of slow these days but did anyone notice last night the camera panned to Sheila E. for a split second. She was in the audience and had on shades if I remember correctly - They didn't put her name on the screen but I'm still pretty sure it was her!
