Take a look at this rare Marvin Gaye picture! What in the heck? Why in the heck did Marvin cut his hair? In one word, this is scary.

Paligap is correct. That's mentioned in one of the Marvin Gaye biographies. Had he lived, he probably would have shaved his head. His hair was starting to thin out. I always thought if they made a movie about Marvin, they should get Jesse L. Powell (Law And Order) to play him. He can sing and could pull it off real well. | |

did you know that jesse was in the original cast of Rent??? I always get worried about talk of a biopic of Marvin, you know at the end the crack had him pretty bad and I wonder if it will be as truthful as Ray. I was so angry when he died and everyone made tributes and talked about how they missed him, where was everybody when he was livin on the street being a crack head? huh Diana? of course now we know she is dealing with some addictions of her own. But it just made me angry. Marvin's is a sad sad story.
