How Is Aretha Franklin's Amazing Grace: The Complete Recordings? Although, I'm not a big gospel fan, I am really amazed at Aretha's body of work, due to the investment of of my very first Aretha purchase: The Queen Of Soul-The Atlantic Recordings boxset. I just want to know if Rhino's 1999 reissue of Amazing Grace is worth a listen or not. I heard it was one of Aretha's watershed projects and the one that put gospel music on the map.
