Who the fuck still listens to Limp Bizkit?

Just curious, that's all. Fred Durst is one of the most hated men in rock n' roll and they have fallen off big time along with that entire genre of "music. Anyone here care to defend them?

is there anything that man can possibly do to revamp himself as even RELEVANT? never mind hip or edgy - those birds flew into the sunset a long time ago.

i think the only thing fat freddy can do at this point is shave off the goatee, put on a suit, and reinvent himself as a music industry corporate weasel.

though he's probably already doing that, and contributing to the top 40 crap supply. sigh

i definitely dont hate limp bizkit ,,,

in my eyes limp bizkit were a breath of fresh air to the dying in the arse metal scene ,,they did bring sumthing new and even exciting to the music table...

but they fell short once huge fame came in2 play ,the debut "3 dollar bill y'all" and significant other is a hiphop metal classic but hot dog isnt even close to being as groundbreaking
but is just as listenable ,,if not very commercial ..

anything released after this point ,,well,,lets just say the scene was soaked with many a poor imitator ,and effectively ,good metal had died..so their more recent collaborations (less wes the guitarist) were garbage bin fodder...

i havent put on a limp bizkit album in 2 years at least ,as thyere music finds no relevance in my life today ,,

they were perfect for me a few years ago...still getting over that early twenties angst ..

so no i dont hate them i did love theyre music at one stage of my life

i wouldnt even say im a fan now ,,but they were good back in the day

well they had a cd out not to long ago....but it was pretty same-y stuff.back then at the time rap/metal type bands were big because people needed something to rebel against the boy/girl groups of the late 90s and 00's i thought.

I got rid of the 2 albums I had by them. I hear Wes Borland is back for the next album but I don't think that will help. I thought they had something good but I can't get past the hobbit that is Fred Durst. After his XXX cell phone footage I can't look at the guy without throwing up in my mouth. feeling ill

I used to be into them, but they turned to shit.

Game over for Fred. He should just keep partying with Paris Hilton types at the Playboy Mansion and live off his millions. His Fred's cred is shot.

Why did people like Limp Bizkit?

"Faith" - for the novelty.

"Nookie" - for the beats.

Both because they were crammed down our throats.

I hate to say it but I liked that song too. I was given that Hot Dog flavored cd when it came out and there was another track on it featuring Xzibit (can't think of the name) but I liked that as well. I would never say I was a fan though.

I think it's because Fred Durst talks a lot of shit and comes off like a jock idiot. He's also known for publicly talking about who he has a crush on or is stalking and it just comes off as lame. Plus he really doesn't have much talent. I saw in on an award shiow in the UK a few years ago and they sang an acoustic version of a Led Zeppelin song and butchered it. I think it's time for Fred to think of a new career.

Fred Durst has a small role in the 'Revelations' U.S. mini-series on NBC. He plays the part of a Satanist henchman.
