Bruce Springsteen "tunnel of love"

This is my fav bruce album. Better then the overblown "born to run" and even better then "nabraska" (my second fav).

"tougher than the rest"
"all that heaven will allow"
"Cautious man"
"walk like a man"
"tunnel of love"
"brilliant disguise"

Love all them tracks. I like the fact he is singing about relationships and not about jobs etc.....plus it has a nice sound.

I never got that. Never knew it existed. Iam not into wham really. I like Joey Lawrence though. U can keep ur white album and led zep (minni g wink ) etc.....joeys first album is pop gold. Good all the way through.

Just because it was early 90's, it gets ignored as shit. mad

I do like this album, but I'd have to admit that there is also some shit on it, especially "Spare Parts", which totally kills the album. The album picks back up around Tunnel of Love, but the middle section just drags.

I definitely think it's an admirable release after the mega-successful Born in the USA, and I like the despair and sadness of the disc, but it just doesn't work as well as some of his other records.

I liked that album too. Have not picked up any of his stuff since then until a few weeks ago. Bought his new one "Devils and Dust" and it, in my opinion, is the best album I've ever heard of his. Check it out. I got it at Barnes & Noble for like $9.00.

i agree. "spare parts" is indeed a spare part and ruins the mood of the album. I have to skip that one. it really bugs me. "Tougher then the rest" is an obvious fav, but its an awesome song.

Pagey

Tunntle of Love is one of my favorite Bruce albums. Its one that I didn't really paid attention to all that much when it came out, but over the years its grown on to be one his best imo (kinda like Lovesexy)...and as I mentioned in another thread I think Devils and Dust is his best since TOL. I like The Rising & Born in The USA and the other rockers too but I like it more when Bruce get introspective and mellow. This is the stuff I can put on anytime anywhere and it grabs my attention.

Bruce rocks!!! headbang

Good call, Mr Hammer! TOL is a great album, one of Bruce's finest. Check out "Devils & Dust" too, by the way. I think you'll like it.
There are three sides to every story. My side, your side, and the truth. And no one is lying. Memories shared serve each one differently
