WHAT IF??? I was just sitting here wondering what would happen if the world of music as we know it today was drastic changed. Please feel free to dwell with me and answer questions???
What if Stevie Wonder would've died after Songs in the Key of Life? What if Jimi and Miles wouldve made that album together? Will he wouldve been praised or considered a sell-out? Is Elvis really that great? What if Prince and MJ wouldve done BAD together? What if Whitney never did drugs? What if MArvin was still living? Why are the Beetles and The Rolling Stones considered the greatest rock groups, when so much of they stuff they have openly stated they stole from other artist that came before them? What if Bob Dylan didnt bring attetion to the Civil Rights Movement? What if Bob MArley never got cancer? What if Lennon wouldve gotten home 15 mins earlier? I can go on and on, but just think for a min how the world be changed. | |

well quite frankly i would have loved to see Prince & Mj together , that shit wouldve been classic! my two favorite male artists performing together, but alas it wasn't meant to be.. 
Elvis really is Great, you can';t deny Elvis is a superb vocalist and many artists were trying to copy his style(paul Anca ; Perry como etc.) many might argue that he stole R&b and stuff and that Chuck Berry really is the king of Rock & Roll, but elvis waz superb the Rolling Stones are not one of my favorite Groups neither the Beatles, I really Don't See what's so Great about Their Music. won't comment on other stuff "Americans consume the most fast food than any nation on Earth and the stupid motherfuckers wonder why they are so fat? Only a fool would call either party in that collaboration a sellout. This is a question i've had with my best friend for years. If managers were not involved and this had been allowed to happen, it probably would have initially occurred somewhere between 1968 and 1969. Given the difference in their personalities, Hendrix would have probablyjoined a Miles project as opposed to the other way around. That being the case, i'm proposing that Hendrix would have been the guitarist on the In A Silent Way, Jack Johnson and Bitches Brew sessions instead of, or in addition to, John McLaughlin. He would have become a bigger legend than he already is. Is Elvis really that great? He's great for the fact that he opened white people's eyes to rock and roll and brought it to the mainstream. His music itself isn't that great. What if Prince and MJ wouldve done BAD together? That would have been horrible. Prince doesn't need to work with any other artist unless it's one that he discovered. He's known for doing it all by himself and he needs to keep it that way. What if Whitney never did drugs? It's a shame she's doing drugs but to be truthful, in a way, it's a good thing. She no longer records that often so she can't do any more damage influencing new artists with her weak ass music like she did when she first came out. She absolutely ruined R&B with her major influence. It slowed down and balladeers everywhere started coming out of the woodwork. No one did hardcore funk anymore because they were following little miss goody two shoes' lead. What if MArvin was still living? He would have still made albums but they would be like all the rest of the older artists' albums, they wouldn't sell too well. Andy is a four letter word. | |
