Anyone remember Glenn Medeiros?

Sorta like luthar in MOR adult contemporary sorta way. UK copied him with jason donavon, but that is not treue really as Glenn's albums were slick, adult and not too cheesy. Fav songs

Lonely wont leave me alone
Someday
Not me
she aint worth it
Nikki
All I'm missing is you
(infact all his 1990 album)
Everybody needs somebody to love
It's alright to love
Betty blue
Victim of love
If looks could kill
Whats it gonna take
Heart dont cahnge my mind

His early albums are slick, MOR adult pop. His voice is gorgeous. He sounds like George Michael somewaht on his uptempo newjack attack "she ain't worth it" and accompaning album.

The red album, of 1990, is easily one of the most refreshing, slickest , charm fest pop u will ever hear. They just dont make pop like they used too LOL

Of course I remeber him. His 2 hits were the "nothing's gonna change my love for you" song and "she aint worth it" featuring our very own Bobbay "kang or r n' b, Brown!

Whatever happened to Glenn?

? His 1993 album sorta bombed I think?

He shoulda stuck with the uptempo's like "she aint worth it" and the followup "all Iam missing is you". I like his MOR stuff too. Gives luther a run for his MOR money.

Yeah I remember us getting into an arguement about Joey Lawrence once. Yeah his first album, with that track is cool NJS influenced pop. Great lil' album.

I grew up in chicago in a predominantly latin enighbourhood (hence I like gerardo and stevie b). then moved to uk. UK never even heard of gerardo or linear. Jeremy jordan didn't chart either. U know "the right kinda love" and "wannagirl"? He dropped a dope album too in 1993.

Al b sure! and Kyle west hooked him up with a couple of slow jams. Very smooth they are too. I hightly reccomend jeremy Jordan. That boy can funk.

The reason why I know that Joey Laurence song is because my friend made me a pop music compilation and he put that song on it otherwise I may have never given it a chance but surprisingly I thought it was good and very catchy.

I don't know Jeremy Jordan. Is he the same kind of stuff? Is pop music from the 90's pretty much your favorite kind of music? How do you feel about UK Artists like..

Atomic Kitten
Steps
Sugababes

Yeah I love old joey.

Jeremy is essential and is more rnb then joey.

"wannagirl" is pure pop (like Joeys stuff) but other stuff is newjack pop.

Funny as on the newjack site I go on, I introduced this album and thought nop one would dig it, but they love it.

"right kind of love" may have dated drums, but song is quite irresistable

Thsoe 3 other artists u listed are late 90's. Steps were the abba of the late 90's. Really cheesey and adored by gays. I mean really cheesy.

Atomic kitten were alright I guess. "whole again" is a good pop sing.

Sugerbabes were rivals of atomic kitten.More gritteier and rnb. The uk crew on the org will know about them. Like cloudy and christopher. Damn time zones, u never seen to meet then.

I seriously only know of this guy because you post on him so much! I saw one of his albums (the one with the orange background that you posted on here) at Media Play...they are selling their older used CDs that have been sitting and collecting dust for years for only a $1...sorry but I didn't buy it. I just didn't care and frankly don't need more CDs taking up space in my room.

i looked at ur profile and I say u may like it. If u like janet jackson u'll like that album.

I know glenn didn't write shit like luther, but glenns got ballad chops for real. But I do prefer his more urban sounding stuff. Was it this album u saw.....

I remember the org dissing that cover sad

Buit hsi other albums are very different to "she aint worth it". Not teenybopper but adult contemporary.

i never understood that cut. Awesome lil' song with a great bridge and that stylised rap bobby did. Bobby was unstoppable then. But Bobby phoned glenn up to give see if he could write and produce a song for glenn. Glenn agreed and they cut the newjack flavoured "lovely little lady", which has bobbies sound written all over it. ralph is on backing vox. Then Glenn asked bobby to beatbox and rap on "she ain't worth it". I like Bobby's beatboxing. He beatboxes on "lovely little lady" too. "lovely little lady" is an album cut.

Nothing's Gonna Take My Love From You is one of my personal anthems! I looooove that song so much! Other than that I'm sad to say I don't know his songs at all. Raised by the radio, I was. wink
