anybody watch Standing in the Shadows of Motown DVD?

picked this up at walmart for $5.50. all the online reviews are great, but for some reason, i trust the opinions of peeps in here more than some schlub on amazon.com. everybody is giving it four stars....is it really that good? i won't be able to watch it until next week, and i don't wanna get all excited for a critical darling that's some boolshit (open water, blair witch, etc..)
you look better on your facebook page than you do in person hmph!

It's electrifying. The Funk Brothers sound young again. You get some great, great extra features on the dvd. It's an awesome movie.

I love it!

I was MAD that Martha Reeve didn't sing a # with them tho but it was still nice seeing her after all these years.

I loved Bootsy Collins's pre4mances and I loved Chaka Khan's duet with Montell Jordan on "Ain't No Mountain High" altho after Donny Hathaway, I don't think anybody esle after him should remake "Whats Going On?".

My fave scene is the return of that exotic dancer,,,,ol' girlfriend can still jam with 'em lol

I've had it awhile now. The Funk Brothers were no joke and TOTALLY underrated. Seriously, if u like music a hairline of a percent, you'll dig this.
