I recently saw the O video. You can't really tell from that. Videos are cut so people look like they know what they're doing. I'd have to see him live.

Usher is a good dancer and he's true to who he is...right now he just seems to be one that takes himself a bit too seriously. When he mellows out, it will probably be reflected in his dance.

The O guy has a couple of "new" moves which is probably refreshing to everyone that's been watching only Usher for too long...so they say he's the better dancer. What appears as fluid in the video is probably really just sloppy. It seems as if his sequences are cut a second too late 'cause you can almost see them going bad.

I do think Justin should be among these guys. I like to watch him dance. I probably wouldn't watch Usher. I'd watch the O guy out of curiousity. I suspect he'll turn out to be a good dancer.

It's really not about how much you do. MJ does half as much now that he's older but it's just as good. He's like the seasoned jazz musician that says the same thing with less. Justin at times has a similar understated thing about him that I like.

No one ever said anything about MJ taking those moves from the original JT(John Travolta). It's from Grease. Gosh, so many of his moves come from that movie. So do the sox and high pants. Guess it's 'cause MJ is such a good dancer. He can take anything and make it his. Kinda like Picasso did.

Anyway instead of working I consorted with my uh...peers. I got the Touch vid. Something about the way O stands on his toes bothers me. It's like he's about to topple. Also it's just not pretty. He needs to call that Ricky Martin/Seal pose guy to help him out with that.

He's got a couple of moves that he does very well but I agree with Dream's observation:
"...It seems like Omarion is mimicking Pharrell's gestures, inflections, and facial expressions in the video..."

At this point, I'd say Usher is definitely ahead in this game. (Between those two anyway)

I don't know about the O video but the Touch video and the movie You Got Served best showcase Omarion's dancing choreographed and non-choreographed. I agree that he seems more fluid, his moves less calculated.

First time I saw Touch it reminded me of a modern version of TWYMMF except at the end he goest to the girl, instead of just disappearing on her the way Michael did. I also like the way he actually dances with her which is something I've always wanted Michael to do--a serious dance with a female dancer. Closest thing was You Rock My World or Blood on the Dance Floor but still those videos really weren't what I had in mind.

michael got the girl in the end of twymmf, remember after he does the hump dance, she runs in the middle and looks around for him, and he ends up coming over and they hug. i think that means he got her anyway.

I love ITC but I wanted to see the female dancer do the same steps as him or something similar that compliments or almost challenges his moves instead of standing around while the he dances. There was a snippet of it in Scream with Janet. It's no biggie just a small personal wish of mine.

I am still gonna go with Usher as of yet I havent seen enough Omarion to actually judge. I have been lookin at Usher dance since '96 and just to say Omarion topped him (which he did) on the "Touch" video, I think Usher deserves another comeback with all new material. He had a chance to dance in the "Confessions" video and didnt, and the "Let It Burn" video and just did little ditties, the "Caught Up" video was too.....Smooth Criminal-ish so I am just gonna judge compared 2 the concerts.

I have yet 2 c Omarion in concert yet so...though he was really good on "You Got Served" too, but there were others that were much better than him.

I'm embarrassed to say I really like that "Touch" video. The girl, the dancing, even the song. I don't usually dig hip-hop anymore. Especially the teen stuff.

I don't really like either one of them, but Omarion cant fuck with Usher when it comes to dancing. Even with his videos and "U Got Served" put together, Omarion still ain't pulled half of the moves that Usher has.
