You need to go buy his live in New York double disc set (also on DVD) and his Live In Barcelona DVD from the Rising Tour. Amazing stuff.

I'm seeing him perform accoustically on Tuesday yay!

nod This album epitimises American rock at its finest. Bruce has a way of reaching everyone with his lyrics and voice. This album definitely takes me back to when music was music.

Love. It.

Bruce rocks and so does this album. Has anyone picked up Devils and Dust yet?...its his best since Tunnel of Love imo.

Whoa now.Dust is a pretty good album but IMO "The Rising" is the second best album of his career after only "Born To Run".

I like The Rising a lot too. I don't think its his 2nd best...or even in the top 5, but its a great album.

In addition to "Fire", there's "Because the Night", "Seeds", the instrumental "Paradise by the 'C'" and his versions of "War","This Land is Your Land","Raise Your Hand" and "Jersey Girl".

My favourite songwriter and the greatest live performer of all-time. I particularly like Lucky Town, Human Touch and Tunnel of Love.

I'm split on D & D. On the one hand, lyrically it's way more ambitious than most songwriters out there, but musically I find it uneven. Songwriting-wise, my favourite period of his is Nebraska through the bonus tracks on Greatest Hits. But there are gems on every album.
