Prince's music career is still active, MJ's really isn't. Michael has been able to maintain the same level of popularity since the 80s by ALWAYS being in the headlines/tabloids for doing "crazy" things, being on trial, being crucified by the media, being referred to as "wacko Jacko" and is the butt of at least 93.5% of the jokes and parodies in the world. Prince sits back and rests easy not having to worry about being crucified by the media.....but he probably misses having that much popularity though.
