Albums or Songs that got you through bad times Anybody else have a particular song or album that helped you get through an emotionally stressful period in your life?

First and foremost: LOVESEXY! Got me through the most trying time in my life.....coming out of the closet.
Dea Davenport / Self Titled album I was suffering from appendicitis in 97 when this came out and knew I was dying and this album gave me so much comfort, especially Placement for the Baby

Prince..It used to be "Parade", but now it's "NEWS". Jeff Beck.."Blow By Blow" and "Wired" Sade.."Lovers Rock" Chris Cornell.."Euphoria Morning" Sevendust.."Seasons" (Yes it's metal, but Lajon wrote a lot of the lyrics about his brother who was killed. I lost someone recently and this CD did help a bit). "This Is Trip Hop - Vol 2"..blunted, downbeat trance music. | |

My best friend had just been killed in a car accident, and Optimistic by Sounds of Blackness helped me through it. One of my favotie songs for so many reasons.
