Last weekend was full of the funkk in Boston.. Bernie was way cool and Lenny played his best show ever in Boston.. My favorite of the night was a 10 minute groove of "Fields of Joy" that song is one of my favorites.. He also played "Tunnel Vision" and "Mama Said." Even "american Woman" sounded OK live.. He was in top form, that new song "Where Are We Runnin" is also an underrated gem..Definitely worth scalping a ticket for Lenny's tour this time around..


Bernie Worrell has a new documentary out, its pretty cool.. I'll never listen to P Funk or "Burnin Down the House" the same again.. I never realized how much the Talking heads owe their success to his crazy keyboard parts.. It's really the reason "Stop Making Sense" is what it is..
