hmm, i absolutely adore prince but he's not a very good vocalist, he is a great singer and knows how to sing, he just doesnt have the range or power to compete with Michael Jackson.
Technically, Michael Jackson is the top of the list. But its all a matter of who u like more. The only vocalists with greater range and power than michael are christina aguilera and mariah carey, but michael beats them with passion, vulnerability and his skills on falsetto, vibrato and staccato! | |

First of all I cant believe someone named sting as being superior than mj, thats friggin' retarded. Second stupid comment was the Freddie Mercury smoking comment. Smoking didnt hurt (have a negative effect) his voice, he just got a lil' lazier with his vocals in the 80's any small change was probably age, just listen to "Don't try so hard" or "the Miracle" or "It's a bautiful day".
Anyway Freddie was a better singer than prince and MJ, no doubt. I think George Michael is better too. Listen to the tone and emotion he put in to it, very few people could match classic Geirge Michael. | |
