I saw this wicked performance of Terence Trent D'arby on SNL last night!

I was flippin' thru cannels and caught an old rerun of Saturday Night Live with Sananda as the musical guest. I actually enjoyed it. He did the Stones' "Under My Thumb". He has great energy and talent. But I couldn't help but watch and think of his obvious influences (Prince, MJ, JB, etc.) I'm still trying to figure out whether he is trying to rip them off or use elements of their essence to create his own identity.

All & all, great performance. biggrin

Oh he has his own identity alright. Sananda is just as unique as any of the above mentioned artists.
