EWF.."Illumination"...August 2nd, 2005!!!!! Got the news directly from Verdine and Damien Smith, EWF's manager, who "spoke" to the fans in our Tuesday chat session on the Official Site.....www.Elementsvipclub.com.
Damien said he is co-executive producing the album with Maurice and Phillip..and is in the studio right now re-mixing "Lovely People", which features Will.I.Am of Black Eyed Peas fame, for release as the next single. AND...they are gonna do a video for the song also..... Everyone is very excited and expects great things...of course, from what I have read about Stevie's album..release dates are not something you can necessarily bank on, but Verdine and Damien were adamant about Aug 2nd. We shall see. Maybe this is the year of the 70s..?? Haaa..Stevie and EWF battling for the pole position on the tops of the music charts...hey..I guess U never know... | |

I know they're both battling for position for "Most Pushed Back Album"..."Illumination" was supposed to drop last fall,  ...radio stations here in D.C. have been playing "Show Me The Way" since September'04...That single was even nominated for a Grammy last year...and no album to go with it!

Two of my favorite artists (Stevie and EW&F) are having a hard time getting their new albums released.Wtf?? 
Oh well...I'll still have the new Jamiroquai CD to enjoy...if it doesn't get delayed too! | |
