You're right. But there was no C side.
I'd never heard this track before. The hook is kinda corny. I love Chaka though. Probably the best female vocalist.

Musically it's so much better than so much that's out there today.

Wasn't Chaka supposed to reunite with Rufus for another album? I thought I heard that a while back. Oh the thought.... drool

By Rufus..Just Rufus...No Chaka...
Guess that's why they did the vocals this way...to let the Chakaesque quality in the other vocal come thru...but not enough that you can really tell. I don't know. The hook is still corny. Even more so second time.

No, the tune was LEFT out of Masterjam and its not Lalomie Wishburn(sp?) like ya'll think.

Lawd this DANCIN MOOD song is PURE CRAP!! Ima Rufus fan but man this is CRAP...no wonder it was recorded during the MASTERJAM album. That album was a LOT of crap too....whew!

BTW I love the HEED THE WARNING song...it has such a new wave sound to me....what about SO CLOSE from the DESTINY CD? I think that song is HIGHLY underrated!
