I dont think Mariah has "transformed"
Good grief when she started she was struggling and barely ate And she hated her curly hair She started eating, got some curves and discovered a flat iron No big deal,I think she looks great. And when are people gonna get over Glitter?? "Nobody makes me bleed my own blood...NOBODY!"

There is a untold story in music about Mariah Carey! I dont think we will ever hear the full truth.
How does a person who saved music after the Late 1980's Lip Syncing.. NOW turn into a Lip Syncer? She cant sing anymore. simple as that! She was always a studio musician. But now she cant even sing at all (live). Her calling card was LIVE amazing singing! It cant be that she over works her voice?  
I mean she rarely tours, rarely is on tv & only makes albums where you can take 50+ takes per verse
PRINCE now, you might think his voice would be sore. He has what?? 2,000+ unreleased songs, TOURS every album more or less for 25+years!  | |

A lot of movies made less than "Glitter" but that doesn't mean the stars or the movie's even sucked. Even if you point out the fact that the movie was so terrible, it's a campy classic, loved for being so bad, but that doesn't even answer the question "How much does MARIAH suck?".... I'm not a Mariah fan, but this is a terrible thread and I'm a moron for giving it my attention. | |

Well, let's see.
Oversinging and use of extremely annoying baby-like whispering? Check. Videos with wind machines blowing in her hair and gratuitous posing done every minute? Check. Overly syrupy ballads and singles with guest rappers ad nauseum? Check. Yep, looks like she sucks alright. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.
