althlete,keane,snowpatrol all moved in on coldplays spot while they were away. they all got a few okay songs...but nothing i dont think id buy the cd's

Interestingly Chris was interviewed in NME and he said Kate was an influence on their new album. I like him even more now. biggrin

Wow, I am surprised they aren't more famous in the US - After all, singer Chris Martin is the husband of Gwynneth Paltrow (and father to her child)..

It is fair to say that they are very big in the UK, in the sense that they are hardly poster-fodder for teens, but for a slightly older audience they are pretty much the biggest thing in in-car-CD-player-Land for a while.
