Coldplay?? in this week's Billboard hot 100 singles chart i noticed that a song by Coldplay (speed of sound) debut'd at #8 on the charts which is amazing..
i have heard of the band but for some reason i dont remember ever hearing any of their songs before..i like Keane a lot and i remember somebody once comparing them to Keane anyways have they had any hits here in the U,S that i might have missed somehow? are they big in the U.K? yeah, it's fair to say they're a pretty big band in the UK, and pretty much everywhere else, too. 
they are much better than Keane, for the record. (Plus the frontman of Keane looks strangely like a pig.  )
their last album was a fine record.  (check it out - "a rush of blood to the head")

Coldplay are currently the UK's most successful band. They've released two albums so far, Parachutes (2000) and A Rush Of Blood To The Head (2002). Both great. Their new album X&Y drops in June.
And the lead singer looks like me.

Anyway. Coldplay kinda sucks; they made tow same sounding records and you cannot tell me the new album is NOT filled with dweepy ballads and won't pop up in loads of ads and stuff. |
