VH1's 8 Track Flashback

One of my favorite shows on VH1 in the 1990s was "8 Track Flashback". This show featured music videos or "promo clips", as they were called back then, from the 1970s. If there wasn't a video, then they would dig up an old television appearance that the artist made. It was a great show. It's a shame VH1 hardly ever has "music" shows anymore.

Anyone else remember this show?

I recorded that one. It was a show about songs that featured the word "boogie" in the title. They also showed "Boogie Nights", "I'm Your Boogie Man", "Boogie Wonderland", "Boogie Oogie Oogie".

I loved Pop Up Video. I miss VH-1 from the 90's period. They had some really great music shows. Too bad it's not like that now.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Hell yeah. I still have a lot of the shows on video. It was great show based on a great period.

Yes, VH1 during the 1990s kept my VCR rolling with shows like "8 Track Flashback", "American Bandstand", "Solid Gold", "Cher", "Don Kirshner's Rock Concert", "Earth, Wind, & Fire in Concert", "Tina Turner in Concert", "The Midnight Special", "The Get Down Countdown", and "The Big 80s".
