Y'all must don't know about Teena Marie??? One of the very FEW women who does it all in the music industry. (singer, songwriter, composer, producer & musician) I haven't forgotten about her, so I will add her to this list.
Music critics always writing about here's "The Next Teena Marie" or "The New Teena Marie"...well, they can all shut up because here's the next "Teena Marie"...We may have to wait a while, though, because her momma says, "she's too young, and I'm not ready to give my baby to the wolves." Teena with her baby Alia Rose in '93

you had to pick the two worst examples of this ehh? shoot, if Wham didnt ask to exclude these types of artist I think Kate Bush, Bjork or heck Tori Amos are better examples then them two. Of course!
