I was looking for music by Antoni Carlos Jobim and didn't find any but say that and see it often when looking for Braziallian music. I was interested. So it's really good then?

Well if you like Braziallian Pop/Bossa Nova, maybe you should check out "Tom and Elis", her collobration with Antonio Carlos Jobim. It's the first and only Braziallian CD I own and I like it (I bought it for the track "Aguas De Marco"...beautiful!).

LOL, I've purchased this album as gifts for more than one person, but never actually bought it myself. I don't know what's holding me back as I've listened to samples in stores and really liked them. I love Latin alternative music and Bebel sorta fits into that genre. Maybe next month.

I havent got Bebel's first album yet but will check it soon, like SquirrelMeat suggested.

I may be bias about the album bcoz I love the film, although not to confuse her album with the soundtrack. a couple of songs have had the essential looping treatment by me, but like I said I could well be bias. I dig it.

If I'm not mistaken my favorite song right now is a song called THE HEARTS A LONELY HUNTER by Thievery Corp. and David Byrne from the Talking Heads. I love it. Anybody else heard it. It's very rythmic. MyeternalgrattitudetoPhil&Val.Herman said "We want sweaty truckers at the truck stop! I dig it. a long time ago, when i lived in new york, i worked in a video store that had a jamaican security guy who was obsessed with julie delpy. whenever someone came in and was browsing around, he'd always say "don't ya want ta see tha julie delpa? rent this - it got tha julie delpa!" so whenever i hear her name, i always wanna call her "tha julie delpa".
