i probably won't have a chance to listen to these goodies for a few days, cuz i'll be running around all over creation with my boyfriend this weekend, and i have class and prince night on sunday, but i'm excited nonetheless to cram these suckers into my stereo:





i said a while back that i was "done" with chicks on speed and that i wasn't gonna get anything else by them cuz i kinda think their whole zeitgeist window came and went a couple years back, but i couldn't turn my back on those wacky girls. they're just too damn...wacky. plus i found their CD used for 7.99!

oh, and the red one in the middle is an anthology of the brian jonestown massacre...i've had that movie 'dig!' on the brain lately, especially now that i got a lollapalooza ticket and saw that both the dandys and BJM are playing at it...i'm strongly contemplating buying the DVD of that flick to own...

i nearly got bloc party just so i could hear what people are going on about. i played a little bit of their album at the listening station at the wrecka stow, and i wasn't overwhelmed or underwhelmed. just kinda whelmed. i think it takes a few listens to know if you really like an album anyway, so i still might get it. i also wanna get some dandy warhols after seeing "Dig!", though i'm not sure what i wanna go with...i'll probably hunt down a cheap used copy of their latest CD online or something.
