Rick James Rock Group "White Cane"

If you scroll down on Soul Patrol.com. They have a link for Rick James's
Rock group White Cane. It is a pretty good record. Makes me wonder why he did do more of this type of stuff later when he went to Motown

Yeah, I'm hip to it, but I haven't been able to get my hands on it or know anyone that has it.

It is really hard to find and I am sure it is very expensive. I got to give props to the funkstore for putting this up. See their link they have a lot of cool stuff on at their store.

I post a link to a whole autobiography on White Cane separatly

To be truthful, when I first clicked on it, I wasn't expecting to like it. You know how it is when you hear artists before they were famous and their stuff doesn't usually sound that hot.

To my surprise, my ear was caught with the first two tracks and I was truly enjoying them. I could hear traces of that punk/funk sound even back then....I wasn't expecting to hear that. The net congestion was getting on my nerves so I clicked and listened to a piece of the other tracks.

Was this album ever released? If it was, hopefully it will be re-released since Rick is gone and if it wasn't, hopefully it will be released. This is one I'd definately like to get.
