Brian McKnight Sings Prince U guys heard the new Brian McKnight cd "Gemini"? It has a track called "Everything I Do" that is just like Prince!And it  sounds good,too.It's 1 of the 1st songs I've heard N a long time where somebody is using Prince's influnce to write and sing a song(Just like when some artist use the "influnces" of Stevie, Hendrix,James Brown,Luther,R Kelly ,etc..).The last songs I heard like that was TLC's "Waterfalls", and Laurnea's "Infatuation",both of them off the hook.Check it all out!!!!! | |

Thank you for this thread! I swear Brian ripped off purple rain for that damned track!!!! He was on the Soul Train awards playing it and you could tell! He even does a guitar solo on the outro!!! It even has the same chords! Brian you should know better! And the worst part is that they are playing it a lot here now! Mutts | |

This isn't the first time he has ripped off Prince.Several years ago,he released a song (can't remember the title) that sounds like "Adore" mixed with "Scandalous".He even tried to sing in that Princely falsetto...lol...the results were humorous. | |
