New Foo Fighters and White Stripes Best of You by the Foo Fighters sounds like a return to form for the band. It reminds me of a more mature "The Color and the Shape" type of song.
Blue Orchid by the White Stripes has Jack singing in a funky Prince type voice. I really like them both and cannot wait for the albums. Later Cause tomorrow is taking too long

this is the second time today i've heard 'blue orchid' compared to prince. hmm. not that i wasn't gonna grab their new album up anyway, but now i'm even more intrigued! i'm sure i'll love it - i like their older stuff, but i have to admit: the first time i heard 'ball & biscuit', the white stripes freakin' owned me.  | |
