The Black Bottom Collective is poised to set trends and it's all a part of the natural creative flow. Led by poet/emcee/author/Def Poetry semi-finalist Khary Kimani Turner, the band is comprised of five breathtaking musicians, a world-renowned DJ and two powerful vocalists. Wherever they play, they stir souls. The BBC prould takes its name from the legendary Detroit neighborhood that thrived during the 40's, 50's and 60's. Turner founded the band after publishing a book of poetry and decided to fuse his love writing and music. The band is now considered on of the jewels of the city.
