The other people mentioned on this thread may have had it tough, but as far as celebrity goes, they are flea's compared to MJ in probably 90% of countries in the world. Michael Jackson's rise was parallel to the rise of mass media and it's influence, that is a major factor.

I feel bad for the way he grew up but he really has no excuse for having kids in his bed. How many of us have had no childhood? I sure as hell didn't, and even though I haven't always had the healthiest adult relationships at least I'm not using the fact that I had no childhood to hide from responsibility and adulthood. I only wihs MJ could have been forced to get counceling or help. He's needed it for a very long time.

And I did almost feel sorry for him in the fall of 2003 when all of this started back up again. But he brings all of this on himself. Now, if he's really that fucking stupid that he just plain doesn't know to eliminate any children that aren't his own out of his life after 1993, then he's deserving of sympathy. But I find it very hard to believe that he's that big an idiot.

I'm half asian, and I can tell you that white is a recessive gene for sure--and there is NOTHING wrong with that, but it definately is a recessive gene when it comes to features. He's kids have blonde hair for cryin' out loud.

I find all races for the most part attractive. I would sure as hell not kick Lucy Lu or Neome Campbell (sp?) out of bed--Like they'd ever want me to begin with.

But anyone who can't see the racial shame inside MJ is smoking crack. He has meticulously cultivated a "whitening" of his appearence for a long long time. But the whiter he gets, the scarier he gets. When you look at his face now, you can't help but think that there is something seriously seriously wrong with him. There isn't a person on earth that looks at that face and wants to jump his bones.

I feel sorry for him in a sense, but the fact is alot of us have had rough childhoods--we're men now, and whether we like it or not, we have a certain responsibility that extends ouside of our own selfish wishes. Dolling yourself up into some pale wannabe-white character sends a very bad message to his fans, and minority children everwhere.

There is no way in hell his appearance is due to vitaligo--Sure, he might have had the disease to some extent, but the whietening would have accurred with or without that.

just because latoya has surgery doesnt mean shes trying to be white either, and even if she is trying to be white, that doesnt mean michael is trying to be too.

i didnt buy the whole vertiligo thing at first but its pretty obvious from some of the recent court appearances that he has it...and the blotches appear to be pink so i can understand why he would bleach his skin to make it easier for him to discuss the blemishes.....but he still had to have bleached some parts of his skin.....but thats reasonable. i would do the same if i had the disease?
