This song is like a timeless classic. Jeffrey Osborne literally sang his heart on every lyric of this song. I also love the string accomplyment in this song.

music "What We Have Is Much More Than They Can See."

I am not African. Africa is in me, but I cannot return.
I am not taína. Taíno is in me, but there is no way back.
I am not european. Europe lives in me, but I have no home there.
I am new. History made me. My first language was spanglish.
And I am

biggrin One of my all time favorites!! written by the great Skip Scarborough....Philip Bailey once said that Love Ballad was one tune he wished that EWF had recorded(Although they did record three of Skip's other tunes: "Can't Hide Love", "I'll Write A Song for You", and "Love's Holiday"...

Did you guys like George Benson's remake from 1978? He speeded it up a little, making it sound like a lite-disco number.

hmph! eye wasn't feeling it. George wasn't able to convey the same vibe that Jeffery did in part b/c he changed his tempo and he doesn't have the same vocal capcity as Jeffery Osborne. Jefferey Osborne is simply an incredible vocalist.

Love this. I have the original on vinyl. No one remade it as well as Jeffrey Osborne did it. I have to say, though, that I thought everybody on that album cover was funny-looking! innocent
