I'm pretty certain they're not remastered. Just straight re-issues.

There was one recently about getting A Kick In The Head Is Worth Eight In The Pants released. No news yet, tho. But those remasters are long overdue. The Beatles catalogue needs doing, too.

Yes they do. | |

NadiaAdare said: I love them so much - as singers, musicians AND songwriters! It's such a shame that they didn't get their props until about the mid-90s, when they'd been doing music for well over 40 years by that time. A lot of people just write them off as the guys who did "Saturday Night Fever", but that's not true at all. In fact, only a handful of the Bee Gees' hit came from SNF. My best friend has a crush on Barry, and she's only 23. It's so cute.
Any fans? What's your favorite tune by the Brothers Gibb? you are SO right the Bee Gees are more than just Saturday Night Fever..i beleive Saturday Night Fever was their 17th charted album..so they had hits waay b4 that ...everybody needs to pick up the One Night Only concert on DVD! it really shows off their talent as songwriters and musicians [Edited 4/19/05 4:27am] Check it out ...Shiny Toy Guns R gonna blowup VERY soon and bring melody back to music..you heard it here 1st! http://www.myspacecomment...theone.mp3

Whoo, LAWD! Yes! And I don't know if the sang it *first*, but their version of "How Do You Mend a Broken Heart" is nice, too. And they were backup on the original version of "Emotions", which Destiny's Child remade. "If I Can't Have You" and "Love You Inside Out" just made me want to be in love with SOMEONE! Anyone! I ain't no vision; I'm the man who Loves you inside and out backwards and forwards With my heart hanging out... The only negative thing I would have to say about The Bee Gees is that I didn't like their remake of "Emotion." I liked the 70's version with Samantha Sang. Their remade version which appears on their latest 2cd greatest hits set doesn't have that same effect.
Other than that, I The Bee Gees, and I don't get tired of their music. It transcends time while at the same time brings me back to fond memories especially in the late 70's. "Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!
