Coming off the boat from USA in 1994, me and my bro, who was 11 and I was 9 just caught the wave that was britpop. We loved Oasis and even the pretentious Blur (I liked "parklife"). It was so great to have UK music and US music. I don't see that now. Iam not into current english bands like Blok street (who make po faced retro shit) and coldplay are too bland for me. Alot of bands are copying coldplay and it sucks. Travis were absolute crap. I hated the lead singer. "Sing" was possibally the worst song ever.

Oasis ruled! After "be here now", they got shit.

Ocen colour scene? They did that "day we caught the train" song didn't they? Very retro, but it's ok.

The verve put out a good album. "Drugs don't work" is still an awesome song.
