Here's My List:

1. Marvin Gaye: What's Going On

3. Prince: Sign O The Times
4. Stevie Wonder: Songs In The Key Of Life
5. Janet: The Velvet Rope
6. Sly & TFS: There's A Riot Going On
7. Michael Jackson: Thriller
8. ...Off The Wall

And There are others, but since I asked for 10, these are the ones that top the list.

Yea, but it doesn't have scenario on it (rah). It's all about Luck of Lucien and Bonita Applebum on the first one. I think we’re in agreement that the Lou Reed sample on that album is sacrilege though.

I also like Buddy and Black is Black for early q-tip.

nod I agree with all that. I think the Lou Reed sample is a plain wrong, but "Can I Kick It" still has awesome drums (Lonnie Smith "Spinning Wheel") and some classic raps.
