A-HA to play Free Concert to kick off Tour

Well the members of AHA have confirmed that there first concert will be AUGUST 27th in NORWAY, it will be a FREE benefit concert. This will be the first chance the band will play new tracks from their new upcoming CD and a chance for the Hometown fans to hear the tracks. AHA is finishing up the CD throughout the Summer in Norway, France, England and NEW YORK CITY, they actually are Living in NYC right now!! The CD is yet to be titled or have a Confirmed street date but the band says it will be finished in time for the Free Concert which is AUGUST 27th and will be out by the time the European Tour starts on October 29th and runs through the new Year. The bad news is that there are still no dates for the US portion of the tour, AHA has not played inside the USA since 1986, however Universal is going to try to Re-introduce them to the USA in 2006, since UNIVERSAL signed them to a 3 CD deal worth a few million.

Aha has admitted that there is still the tension in the band that has always existed from day one, but now its different when you are in your 40's, they are working things out together and recording as a Band for the first time ever.

"We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F
