Addiction to this type of thread is troublesome. 90% of my replies are to threads such as these. I must enjoy them ^^ Anyway, these are current and could magically change at anytime.
1, David Bowie - "Drive In Saturday", I didn't know of this song for the longest time. It was one of those jems that eluded me for years. 2, Prince - "Family Name" - a gem from the "One night Alone...live" discs. 3, David Byrne - "U.B Jesus" - The first song of "Look Into The Eyeball" that made me swell with admiration for mr. Byrne. 4, Pixies - "Monkey Gone To Heaven" - This song exemplifies the what the Pixies are to me. 5, Phish - "Guelah Papyrus" - There isn't a wonderful Trey guitar solo in this, but stands out as an amazing song nonetheless. 6, The Smiths - "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out" - Although there were many songs that could've taken the Smiths catagory, ((Anything on Louder Then Bombs?)) I went with the aforementioned because the lyrics hit home within my soul every single time I listen through. There isn't anything like singing along with Morrissey at the top of your lungs. 7, Elvis Costello - "Watch Your Step" I don't know, this song just does it for me. Definatly a crunchy groove. ^^; 8, Smashing Pumpkins - "Mayonaise" - The song that I deemed the central song of my highschool years. 9, The Cure - "Love Cats" - Everyone should be required to own at least one Cure album. This song should be on that album. ^-~ 10, Beck - "Debra" - I see a Prince quality in this song, again, this is one to sing along with while driving. ^-^. | |
