Oh nooo!! I saw some photos of him on wireimage.com recently and he wasn't looking too hot. He looked like was on something. So, I guess there might be some truth to it. That's a shame. A man that damn fine letting himself slide downhill like that. But it could be all rumor like you say. Whatever the deal is, I wish he'd get his azz back in the studio.

Totally not true. He has a concert date set for June 2nd in CA.

He has always been a very private person. His new album is expected to be released this year.

It's called "Black Summer's Night".

If you are expecting Part 2 of Urban Hang Suite, then you will be disappointed. I think quite a few fans were expecting that. It's not radio friendly as a whole. It may take a few listens to really feel it. Honestly it took me a couple of years before I truly embraced it for the work that it is. Now I play it in it's entirety and just let the ambience take over. It definitely deserves a 2nd listen for those who have dismissed it as a Sophomore slump.

Actually, I might could get into Maxwell and D'Angelo's music if they would SPEED THE DAMN TEMPO UP! They both have nice voices and nice styles but damn, do something fast for a change. It's like people absolutely refuse to do something uptempo anymore.

Album is due this year and it also had a name change from "Black Summer night" to "suite summer night"

Nothing compares to Urban Hang Suite--I don't think anything he'll do ever will. But I would like to hope so. I love Embrya; especially #8--Submerge. Oh my goodness that song is whew!

I've been hearing about this man's album "coming out" for more than a good year now. On my local radio station I heard it was supposed to have come out this past fall. Well? I'm waiting!

He was seriously set to be the next big thing. Fine as wine with a voice to match. Damn I miss him.

Embryo was magnificiant.. it was touching edges of becoming bland, but never crossed that line, thus making it very interesting..

I love his "Now" Cd! I actually love all his albums.

At first I was thinking I wouldn't like "Embrya" because of the odd song titles.
I was wrong! It's really hot, not as commercial sounding though.
