Queens of the Stone Age

Is anyone else feeling this new album? My only complaint is that once a song is done and you are trying to take it all in, another song comes along and is the same if not better than the last one. If that is even a complaint. This album is a classic.

Are there little radio interludes or whatever between songs on this album? As much as I loved the last one, that stuff got old for me.

I've heard some mixed feelings here and there, but perhaps that's a good thing. I love Songs For The Deaf. I'm gonna stop procrastinating and pick up the new one.

It's got a few moments of genius but the bass player that was kicked out added more than I thought a bass player could.

I am a fan of this band and have seen them about 6 times. Saw them live a couple of weeks ago and the show SUCKED, I will never pay to see them again.

It's a solid album, but Dave Grohls drumming really gave their last album that kick in the ass to take it to the next level. This time around they sound a little watered down. It's still worth buying though.

I loved Songs for The Deaf as well. To me the new album is different, and somewhat darker and less radio-friendly but still amazing and it is a great follow up to the last one. There are no breaks or interludes between the songs either. I saw them live too and they were not exciting to watch but they sounded great.....just like the albums. Now where are all the other great rock bands?
