Vincent van Gogh ?

here are some of the lyrics,.....

look at the stars

vincent was famous for painting "yellow stars" (starry night)

and it was called "yellow"

vincent also lived in a "yellow house" and had a "yellow period" in arles

vincent did not get any real recognition for his art until after his death

as everyone know's he cut off part of his ear lobe !!!


and then there were the wonderful paintings of the sunflowers and you know what ?

they were all "YELLOW"

First of all, congrats on your 2,000 posts. Im catching up to that milestone as well.

I think that Coldplay could have very well been using Van Gogh as inspiration for their song. Ya never know. Maybe they will be on VH1's Storytellers or something to explain.

Interesting theory, but naah.. i dont think so. especially these two things i don't bite:
