Songs Your High School Band Used To Play Back in the day, pep rallies could be so much fun. Football, as well as other sports, bores the hell out of me, but I loved the pep rallies and half time at the games.
During football season, every Friday afternoon, we used to have a pep rally during the last 30 minutes of the school day. When my school used to play one particular high school, which was their arch football rival (and still is to this day), we had what was called "spirit week". During this week, we had pep rallies before school, during free period, and the last 30 minutes of the day....every day for the week before the big game. What are some songs that your high school band used to play at pep rallies, football games, school functions, etc.? My high school band used to play so many songs. Some in particular I remember are: Eye Of The Tiger - Survivor We Got The Beat - The Go Gos Beat It - Michael Jackson Pink Panther Theme Song I also remember the cheerleaders putting a boom box up to the microphone so the music would play through the gym speakers. They were dancing to songs like: Swoop (I'm Yours) - The Dazz Band 1999 - Prince I'm So Excited - The Pointer Sisters You Dropped A Bomb On Me - The Gap Band Electricity - Midnight Star The Walk - The Time Let Me Tickle Your Fancy - Jermaine Jackson [Edited 4/11/05 22:47pm] Andy is a four letter word.

St Elmo's Fire (Man in Motion) reminds me of high school football games. I'm the first mammal to wear pants.
