In the dvd that comes with the special edition of the new Tori Amos album, The Beekeeper she alludes to her mother as being ill, near death, or dead. Can anyone shed some light on the health or mortality of Tori's mom?

her mother was ill and it was possible that she might be terminally ill. she didn't die (at least to my knowledge) but it obviously threw tori for a spin. the beekeeper (the song) was the result as was the theme of loss and betrayal that can be heard in the new record.
