Randy Jackson not in the Hall with his Brothers? Why is Randy Jackson not in the Rock in Hall of Fame with his brothers, The Jackson 5. I know he wasn't an official member of the J5, he was on stage with them as the percussionist from 1972 until they left Motown. Also, he was a part of the Jacksons from 1976 "The Jacksons" until 1989 "2300 Jackson Street." PRINCE: Always and Forever

If they're in the HOF as just "The Jacksons", Randy will be there! | |

I consider the Jackson 5 and the Jacksons as the same group, just one at Motown with Jermaine and one at CBS/Epic with Randy. Mike was still the focal point of both.
Both David Ruffin and Dennis Edwars are Hall of Fame member, yet Eldridge Bryant was the original lead, but is not in. Also, Richard Street is not in either. They always leave Randy out of things. I read in some Jackson Family book (forget the one) that Randy wasn't originally invited to Motown 25. PRINCE: Always and Forever

Also, if both Parliament-Funkadelic are inducted, which are basically the same groups on different labels, why are the Jacksons 5-Jacksons not. PRINCE: Always and Forever
