I saw a couple of Elton John threads on this board and I thought some of the hardcore Elton fans might be able to come up with an answer, after all, Elton John´s hair even gets a mention in a Prince song.

I went to my hairdresser today and we were talking about his holiday trip and other topics Paul Mitchell and stuff and how he used to have this client who´d undergone a hair job and there were some visible scars and the hair looked definitely different from before, a bit unnatural, and on top of that you really need a LOT of hair from the back and the sides to cover up Elton´s head. His hair looks great.
So me and my hairdresser started discussing Elton John´s hair and whether it´s a toupet or a very good hair transplantation ?
My hairdresser wasn´t sure...

Wigs and I've heard like $50,000 grand a pop so they better look good.
