Nasty Girl/The Challenge Another combination the DJs used to mix back in the day was Vanity 6's "Nasty Girl" and Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde's "The Challenge" which was not a sample of "Nasty Girl" but the groove was remade underneath the rap. Remember these jams?
Turntable 1: We're so nasty, we love to turn it out On the down stroke we never choke We'll make you scream and shout We're so nasty, we both are rated X And when it comes to gettin' freaky girl, huh, we're the best Turntable 2: Tonight livin' in a fantasy My own little nasty world Tonight don't you wanna come with me Do you think I'm a nasty girl

CinisterCee said: never heard "The Challenge"... It was a 12 Inch that came out on Profile Records in either late 1982 or early 1983. It was a rap record that took the groove for Vanity 6's "Nasty Girl" and Dr. Jeckyl & Mr. Hyde did a rap over it. They had done the same a year ealier with the Tom Tom Club's "Genius of Love" and called it "Genius Rap". Andy is a four letter word.

I'm aware of the duo (hey it's Andre Harrell!) and know "Genius Rap" well.
